Our Story

Built From Grit. Driven By Vision.
LDGC was born not from convenience, but necessity. In 2009, as the economy collapsed and real estate firms across the country downsized, Alrich Lynch found himself as the last development team member standing in his Atlanta office — at one of the most respected firms in the country. He had outlasted wave after wave of layoffs, taking on every project left behind. But just before Thanksgiving that year, his boss provided insight: if new work didn’t come in by mid-2010, his time was up.

With two young children at home and no guarantees on the horizon, Alrich did what builders do — he laid a new foundation. Over Thanksgiving break, the idea for LDGC was born. By December 2009, he’d formed the company and started taking on estimating and scheduling work at night, after his day job. His first unofficial client was JC Burton, and his earliest projects included institutions like Savannah State University and Atlanta Metropolitan College. When the layoff came in June 2010, LDGC was already in motion — built out of grit, grounded in experience, and committed to doing things differently. Fifteen years later, LDGC has become the trusted partner behind complex real estate projects throughout the Southeast, led by the same mindset that sparked it: solve the problem, do the work, and never forget where you came from.
